Music At The Barrels

Music is integral to the Barrels experience. In the main bar you will find a mix of the best laid back grooves that steadily build through the day from blues and classic rock to funk jazz and indie.

Downstairs is the most ecclectic and credible music venue across the borders and Northumberland. Some of the best blues bands and singer song writers both side of the Atlantic have graced the basement and keep coming back because of the unique atmosphere. Friday nights is all about live music while Saturday nights attract a younger crowd to dance a way to glam funked up house.

Our now legendary Friday nights gigs have seen some firm favourites such as Stewboss, Lighting Willie, The Grim Northern Social, Juliet Turner, The Ground Hogs, Kent Duchaine, Steve Arvey to name but a few.
